The second day of the Class 5A girls golf state tournament on Tuesday at Olde Course in Loveland has been canceled because of rain.

Officials made the decision before 7 a.m.

Results from Day 1 will stand as final.

Dakota Ridge senior Gillian Vance with a 4-under-par 68 after one round. Regis Jesuit senior Sydney Gillespie finished two strokes behind Vance.

Regis Jesuit will win the team state title. Rock Canyon finished 13 strokes behind for second place.

Olde Course head golf pro Kim Stiner said the only way the tournament would be canceled was if the course was flooded.
