Parker police are searching for a suspect who fired three bullets at a Rocky Vista University security guard Monday night.
The guard, who was not hit, told police he had interrupted the suspect as he tried to break into a car in a school parking lot about 10 p.m. The campus is on South Chambers Road north of E470. The suspect fled on foot when confronted and fired at the unarmed guard.
Authorities say the suspect is a white or Hispanic man in his 20s who is just under 6 feet with short hair.
