Through Monday. There’s so much more to the fourth annual Denver Comic Con than celebrity guests, but a sizable portion of the 100,000 expected attendees this year will no doubt be tickled to glimpse of names like Karen Gillan (“Doctor Who”), Anthony Michael Hall (“The Dead Zone”), Gwendoline Christie (“Game of Thrones”), Nichelle Nichols (“Star Trek”) and others. Organizers say the heart of the Con is its nonprofit educational parent, Pop Culture Classroom, and similarly, the blood pumping through the Colorado Convention Center’s halls will be the hundreds of hours of programming, open-floor marketplaces, on-site comic book artists and gaming, cosplay and other events. Single-day tickets are still available for the convention, which continues through May 25 at 700 14th St. in downtown Denver. $35-$40 per day; $5 children’s tickets, 2-11, free under 2. .
