An eight-vehicle accident shut down southbound Interstate 25, just north of Interstate 70, for more than an hour Friday evening.
Denver police said on Twitter at 6 p.m. that there were serious bodily injuries at the scene, adding that all southbound traffic was shut down.
The roadway re-opened at about 7:10 p.m.
