Through the official end of Colorado’s flu season Saturday, there were 3,392 hospitalizations linked to the virus and six children died, state health officials said.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said Wednesday the season peaked on Dec. 27 with 582 hospitalizations.
The season, , officially ended Saturday. The hospitalizations were reported in 56 of Colorado’s 64 counties.
Mark Salley, a CDPHE spokesman, said the state does not track adult flu-linked deaths.
