No, Bill Connor is not expecting a flood.

Don’t call him Noah, either, or ask him when he expects to start pairing off animals.

Connor, 54, has fielded tons of those questions while building a 40-foot sailboat in his south Boulder driveway over the last five years. So many that he installed a tongue-in-cheek sign with frequently asked questions and answers.

The boat is Alizée, a feminine version of the French word for trade winds. Connor, a 23-year Boulder resident, began building the now-11,000-pound wooden boat at his home on Hartford Drive after he lost his job in software during the recession.
