A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in a , police said.
Jeffrey A. Slate is being held at the El Paso County jail in the case. Officials say he is the only one suspected in the slaying of Cameron Pitts, 37, of Colorado Springs.
The shooting happened about 10 p.m. on the 100 Block of South Claremont Street where officers found a dead man at a home.
