Underwriters for Nivalis Therapeutics on Wednesday set a price range for the Boulder-based pharmaceutical company’s planned initial public offering at $13 to $15 per share.

Nivalis, which is developing drugs for the treatment of cystic fibrosis, for an IPO to raise up to $60 million.

In the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing made Wednesday, Nivalis officials said they plan to sell nearly 4.3 million shares. At the midpoint of the range, the offering would hit that $60 million projection. At the high end of the range, it would garner more than $64 million.

Proceeds from the offering would be put toward continued development of N9115, its lead cystic fibrosis treatment compound, in addition to general corporate purposes.
