A man who injured an RTD bus driver during a Friday robbery was found and arrested late Tuesday night on a bus in Highlands Ranch, officials said.
Malcolm Ray Johnson, 38, was arrested near Ridgeline Boulevard after 10 p.m. when RTD notified the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office that he was on board, said Sgt. Ron Hanavan, spokesman for the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Johnson is accused of from the driver and then fleeing on foot.
A photo and information was given to the public Tuesday from Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, and Hanavan said that must have led to Johnson’s capture.
As of Tuesday night, Johnson was being held on a $50,000 bond, Hanavan said.
