Making Friday even sweeter, some grocery stores, coffee shops and pastry purveyors this morning are celebrating National Doughnut Day by giving away the holed treats.
Those offering doughnut deals include:

Until 9 a.m., and stores across Colorado are handing out a free glazed doughnut to each customer. The recently merged grocery chain also plans to deliver 1,000 doughnuts to Denver Police Department districts throughout the metro area.

, 11804 E. Oswego St. in Englewood, posted a picture on its Facebook page of the shop’s . The local outfit is offering one free regular doughnut per patron as well as two regular doughnuts and a small cup of Joe for those in the active military, veterans, police officers and firefighters.
