FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say a fourth fatal shooting in Larimer County is not connected to the others.
A man was shot and killed and another man was arrested Saturday after a shooting near Fort Collins.
The Coloradoan reports (http://noconow.co/1QeDb8i ) that officials haven’t identified the victim or said what may have prompted the shooting.
But they tell the newspaper that a suspected shooter was in custody and that there was no ongoing threat to public safety.
The shooting happened just 5 miles from another fatal shooting on Wednesday. Police are investigating any possible link between that Loveland shooting and two previous shootings of a bicyclist and a driver.
No suspects have been publicly identified in any of those incidents.
