A man found guilty in three separate sex assaults in Denver was sentenced Monday to a minimum 36-year prison term, although he could serve life.
Isaiah Hunter, 24, was convicted of one count of sex assault with force and two counts of sex assault in connection with three cases dating back to 2011, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office.
Hunter’s “indeterminate to life sentence” could range from 36 years to life, the DA’s office said in a media release.
The crimes happened on Feb. 4, 2013, with an assault near East 30th Avenue and Downing Street; April 13, 2013, with an assault at East 26th Avenue and Tremont Place; and Feb. 11, 2011, with an assault near East Colfax Avenue and Quebec Street.
Hunter was ordered by the court to pay $4,331.80 in restitution.
