1 Woman illegally pulls plants at park. On May 29, a woman was seen by Denver police pulling freshly planted flowers and shrubs out of fields at Civic Center Park, 1499 Broadway. The woman ran from Denver police, but was caught and arrested.

2 Mixer stolen from Guitar Center. An employee of Guitar Center, 1585 S. Colorado Blvd., called Denver police on May 30 after he witnessed a man walk out of the store with a musical mixing board without paying. He confronted the suspect, who then threatened to shoot him if he didn’t back off. The suspect escaped in his truck.

3 Student sprays pepper spray at school. On May 27, Denver police responded to an incident at Strive Preparatory School, 3201 W. Arizona Ave., after a student sprayed pepper spray in the school. The spray affected several students who experienced burning eyes and were coughing. Students were treated at the school.

4 Man tries to fight nurses. A patient at Denver Health, 777 Bannock St., was arrested on May 28 after causing a disturbance where he was trying to fight his nurses and threatened to kill them. Denver police also learned that an EMT came to help and the suspect called him a racial slur and spit on his pants.

5 Suspect wants to fight all comers. On May 29, a man was arrested after threatening to fight random pedestrians and for bloodying a man’s lip near the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Colorado Avenue. The suspect was picked up by Denver Police across the street from a school as kids were leaving for the day.
