1 Easy fix. A woman living in the 2200 block of Castlegate Drive North, Castle Rock, said one of her neighbors slapped her May 21 but she had no injuries. The neighbors said she yelled at their kids for playing in front of the open window to her apartment and then told the parents they stink and shoved one of them. Officers informed her people are allowed to stand in front of her apartment.

2 Wait, how much booze? A man came into Village Center Liquors,9553 S. University Blvd, Highlands Ranch, on June 2 and paid for $555.04 worth of alcohol with a Visa pre-paid card. He then bought $123.97 more. He told the clerk the authorization code was 795. Visa called the store to say it was a scam, all codes are six digits long and the store would not be reimbursed.

3 Fight of the century. Police responded to the 2200 block of Castlegate Drive North, Castle Rock, on May 11 on reports of a fight. Witnesses said one teenage boy swung at another, missed and fell down. They then wrestled before a neighbor called the police.

4 Big reveal. A woman took her kids outside to show them her just-purchased 2012 Chrysler van May 30 in the 600 block of West County Line Road, Highlands Ranch, and found that it had been extensively keyed.

5 Deflated feeling. A man living in the 9800 block of South Clairton Court, Highlands Ranch was driving to work June 2 when one of his tires went flat. He got out and found all four of his tires had been slashed. The cost to replace them was approximately $432. Police have no leads.
