Prosecutors have identified a 32-year-old Englewood man suspected of attempted first-degree murder early Tuesday.
Philo Roberts-Bicking appeared in Arapahoe County court on Wednesday for a first-appearance in the case, said Michelle Yi, spokeswoman for the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
Roberts-Bicking is being held at the county’s jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, jail records show.
Englewood police say Roberts-Bicking shot his 25-year-old roommate several times at their apartment in the 3500 block of South Bannock Street at about 5:30 a.m.
Police say Roberts-Bicking called 911 after the shooting to report the altercation.
Roberts-Bicking is due back in court Monday where prosecutors are slated to file formal charges in the case.
