1 Couple throws dirty diapers. Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded May 25 to the 10000 block of Elk Haven Lane, Conifer, where a male and female couple were fighting. They reported that in the midst of an argument, the male threw a soiled diaper toward the female, but said they often throw dirty diapers in that vicinity before taking them out with trash. They agreed to seperate for a time to clear the air.

2 Attempt to mail marijuana and catheter. An employee of the Shipping Depot, 3739 Evergreen Parkway, contacted Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office May 27 to report that someone tried to mail a package containing marijuana, a catheter and what appeared to be hash oil. The suspect used a fake name and could not be traced. The sheriff’s office took the evidence to be destroyed.

3 Neighbors cause a stink. Jeffco Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 30000 block of Appaloosa Drive, Evergreen, on a report of harassment May 26. One resident threatened to shoot his neighbor who had confronted him about his unleashed dog defacating in his yard. The dog owner was advised to leash and clean up after his dog and both residents agreed to make amends at a later date for the good of the neighborhood.

4 Tire slashed. A man reported that someone slashed the tire of his truck while it was parked in the 7000 block of Brook Forest Drive, Evergreen, on May 24. He and witnesses suspected a driver who followed them to their friend’s house and who they believe they saw again later fleeing the scene of the crime.
