Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield
June 19-23: The Roxborough Arts Council and the Audubon Society of Greater Denver have partnered for “Wild Colorado,” a five-day exhibit and sale of 2D and 3D works by local artists at the Audubon Society in Littleton. Hours are noon to 6 p.m. daily with a reception on June 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. A portion of the proceeds benefit the society. Admission is free. 11280 S. Dumb Friends League 2016 Pet Photo Contest
Deadline Aug. 3: Enter as many photos as you like at $25 each for the league’s annual contest. Birds, dogs, cats, small mammals and horses are welcome (no humans). All photos entered will find a home in the 2016 wall calendar and 12 photos will be chosen as “Pet of the Month.” The five photos that get the most votes will win prizes.
