WESTMINSTER — No one was injured when fire did extensive damage to a home in the 2800 block of 116th Place around 11 a.m. Saturday, Westminster fire reported.
Neighbors saw heavy smoke coming from the roof. When firefighters arrived, the residents of the home had already evacuated themselves and their pets.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading through the structure, but reported heavy fire and smoke damage to the top floor of the house, attic and roof. The estimated loss is $100,000.
The cause is under investigation.
