Former Sacramento Kings head coach & GM Jerry Reynolds says the Denver Nuggets should implement a fast-paced offense but will new head coach Mike Malone?
“I think that’s [running the ball] the first thing you should do because that’s a real advantage,” said Reynolds. “And I think with Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried — these are guys that are made for running. These are key guys and I think that’s how you get the most out of them.”
“Michael understands the running game,” he said. “He’s been an assistant at several places that had good running games. In the case here [Sacramento], we didn’t have the personnel at the time he took over to be a consistently good running team.”
“I think what he’ll do is try to have a consistent fast pace but really improve the defense,” Reynolds said.
