Classical in Crested Butte

Kick off the Crested Butte Music Festival at the “Time Spans” festival June 25-28. This will be the first of four mini-festivals in Crested Butte featuring symphony and chamber music by contemporary artists, including the Talea Ensemble and JACK Quartet. Tickets start at $10.

Aspen Antiques

Visit the 12th annual Aspen Antiques and Fine Arts Fair July 2-7. Vendors will showcase fine art, antiques, furniture and jewelry at the Aspen Ice Garden. This free public exhibit is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. aspenartfairs.com or 970-710-1192

Keystone for kids

Keystone’s Kidtopia Kidzfest run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 11. This family-friendly, beach-party-themed event will include a bubble foam pit, pony rides, face painting, balloon artists, a photo booth, spin art, bounce houses, a DJ and street entertainers. Slide party

Beat the summer heat and bring the family to Boulder for a slip-and-slide water party July 18. Slide the City features a 1,000-foot slip-and-slide on The Hill, across the street from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Children must be 5 years old and over 46 inches tall to slide.
