Police in Denver are investigating after a man was found dead in an alley early Monday after apparently having been run over.
“Evidence says he was run over by a vehicle,” said Sonny Jackson, a police spokesman. “That’s as far as we know right now. There’s no vehicle that stayed on scene or anything like that.”
The fatal collision happened at about 5:30 a.m. on the 2300 block of Broadway. Police say the man was found unresponsive.
“We’re not sure what led up to this,” Jackson said.
Jackson said the city’s medical examiner’s office will release the man’s identity.
