Interview with Dennis Dickey, owner

Q: How did you get involved in this business?

A: I grew up in the restaurant business, starting at age 12.

Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?

A: We are hands-on owner-and-chef-operated, with a sense of community and loyalty to our guests and staff. Union feels like a family when you join us. Always doing our best to exceed your expectations and accommodate dietary restrictions or needs.

Q: What do you like best about your line of work?

A: Daily interaction with our guests and staff. Every day is something new and exciting.

Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?

A: Constantly changing our approach to execute at a higher level each day.

Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:

A: Most of the time there is an owner helping you enjoy your experience. Whether it’s the chef in the kitchen or the person in the dining room.
