NBC stalled for a few days but on Monday made the right call: the network severed ties with Donald Trump over his derogatory statements regarding immigrants (particularly Mexicans). Trump loses “The Apprentice” and the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants will no longer be carried by NBC.
In the midst of his announced campaign for the U.S. Presidency, Trump got a wake-up call from a mainstream entertainment outlet that may clarify for him the limits of public tolerance for hateful rhetoric in 2015
