1 Smashing wake up. A couple living in the 18100 block of East Caley Circleinunincorporated Arapahoe County called police after discovering their back patio door had been smashed with a rock just after 2:30 a.m. May 31. An officer found glass on the stairs leading to the basement and helped the homeowner clear all the rooms and closets down there. Nothing was taken from the home.

2 Vandals run amok. Police responded to the 18100 block of East Oakwood Place, Arapahoe County, on May 31 on reports that a man woke up to find all four tires on his Honda SUV has been punctured overnight by an unknown party. As officers were leaving the area, they spotted a truck in the 18100 block of East Maplewood Drive that also had four tires stabbed in a similar fashion. The homeowner there said one tire on another vehicle of his was also punctured. A neighbor’s video cameras did not capture what happened.

3 And keep running. On May 31, officers responded to the 6100 block of South Ventura Court, Arapahoe County, where a car’s tires were slashed and a flower pot was smashed. A neighbor said she saw two young males go into the yard at 2 a.m.

4 Rent vs. drugs. A woman living in the 5800 block of South Datura Street, Littleton, called police May 29 to report that her boyfriend had choked her and pushed her to the ground following an argument over his desire to smoke meth. When he was arrested five days later, he said she had spent half their rent money on meth and she attacked him when he threatened to do the same.
