An arrest warrant has been issued in Colorado Springs for a non-custodial parent who has allegedly kidnapped her 5-year-old daughter.

Investigators are looking for Kiri McMillion, 28, and the child, Sidney Carlisle, according to a Colorado Springs Police Department news release.

At about 5 p.m. Tuesday officers were called to the 700 block of East Rio Grande Street on a report of a kidnapping.

Police said McMillion arrived at the home unannounced and asked the child to leave with her.

“When the child refused,” McMillion allegedly picked up the girl put her in a car and drove off, police said.

The vehicle was later found in Yuma.

An arrest warrant for McMillion on second-degree kidnapping charges and violation of a court order has been issued.

McMillion is described as a white, 5-feet 8-inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Sidney is described as 3-feet 8-inches tall, about 35 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Police believe she may be driving a silver 1999 Chevrolet pcikup truck bearing license plate 952SUQ.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call police at 719 444-7000.
