The Denver Police Department is investigating a shooting Wednesday evening near Tejon Street and Asbury Avenue in southwest Denver.
Sonny Jackson, Denver police spokesman, said a car was spotted leaving the scene of the shooting.
Police said the shooting left one man with a gunshot wound. He has been transported to an area hospital in critical condition and is expected to survive his injuries.
There is no suspect information available as of 8:30 p.m.
