Re: “United flight to Boston returns to DIA because of smoking passenger,” June 28 news brief.
Thinkstock
Recently, a passenger on a United Airlines flight from Denver to Boston decided to smoke and eventually forced the flight to return to Denver International Airport. Business appointments, cruise launchings, travel connections and multiple reservations were surely missed, costing the other passengers not only much time but likely much money.
Isn’t it time for legislation that allows passengers similarly affected by jerks and misfits to easily and readily sue them in class-action seeking reimbursement for lost time and expense?
