The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday they are investigating an apparent inmate suicide that occurred in their detention facility.
Officials said the inmate, a 43-year-old white male, was found unresponsive in the shower around 3:45 p.m. Attempts to revive the male were unsuccessful.
The department said the incident is an ongoing investigation, and further details, including the decedent’s identity, would not be released at this time.
