1 I didn’t order any wings. A woman who lives in the 18100 block of East Lasalle Place discovered that her credit card had been stolen when she received a call from the manager of a pizza and wings business saying that her card had been declined June 22. She canceled the order as well as the credit card.

2 Shopping for refunds. A man walked into the O’Reily Auto Parts store at 18800 E. Hampden Ave., selected a wrench and headlight from the shelves and tried to get a refund for the items June 19. The manager went to review the security tapes and saw that the man was lying, but another employee had already let the suspect leave with the merchandise.

3 Poolside purse snatch. Police were called to Quality Inn at 3300 N. Ouray St. because a guest’s purse was taken from the pool area June 21. The victim said the purse was taken while she stepped into the lobby for just a moment. There are no suspects.

4 Secret shopper. A security guard patrolling the aisles of the King Soopers at 3190 S. Parker Road reported that he caught a man trying to conceal coffee creamers in his pocket June 22. He tried to escort the suspect to the office, but he took off through the exit.

5 Stolen marijuana. Police responded to the 2200 block of North Ursula Street because a potted tree and two marijuana plants were taken from a woman’s yard June 19.

6 Open garage. A woman who lives in the 6800 block of South Coolidge Court called police because someone stole three bikes from her garage when she left it open June 25.
