The northbound lanes of Interstate 25 in Thornton have been reopened Friday morning after a crash in the area closed several lanes and prompted major delays.
The crash happened about 5:30 a.m. near Thornton Parkway. The lanes were reopened roughly an hour later.
Officials did not release further details on the crash. News helicopter images from the scene showed an SUV badly mangled in the middle of the interstate.
