Wildlife officials this morning tranquilized a bear that had climbed up a tree on the University of Colorado campus next to Cockerell Hall. The bear was first reported to University of Colorado police at 7 a.m. and officers quickly roped the area off, according to CU spokesman Ryan Huff.
