The eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 have reopened Monday after being closed for nearly two hours because of a crash on the east side of the Eisenhower Tunnel.
The Colorado Department of Transportation reopened the road at about 2:20 p.m. The closure started at 12:30 p.m. and safety metering at the tunnel was used to help with backups.
CDOT did not elaborate on the wreck.
