The Denver Police Department arrested a 19-year-old man for a June sexual assault and burglary.

Dante Walker was arrested for a sexual assault and burglary that took place on Elkhart Street and Pensacola Place June 21, according to the Denver police.

Police responded to reports of a burglary in progress where the suspect fled and was not located, a Metro Denver Crime Stoppers bulletin said.

The investigation found that the suspect entered a home and sexually assaulted someone inside the residence. A family member called police.

According to 7News, Walker was arrested Saturday on investigation of two counts of sexual assault and first-degree burglary, jail records said. Walker appeared in court on Monday morning, and a judge set his bond at $100,000.
