A single-vehicle crash in Garfield County seriously injured two people, including one juvenile on Monday morning, officials said.

The Colorado State Patrol responded to a rollover on Interstate 70 in Garfield County about 6:25 a.m., according to a Colorado State Patrol news release.

A 2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck was headed east on the interstate when the driver lost control, the release said.

The truck rolled causing the driver, 20-year-old Dustin Ferguson and the juvenile male passenger to be ejected from the vehicle.

Both sustained serious injuries and were flown to area hospitals.

Ferguson and the passenger, who has not been named, are both from Brandon, Miss.

Investigators do not suspect drugs, alcohol or excessive speed were a cause of the crash and are still looking into why the driver lost control.
