Hours after a Denver contestant on the latest season of “The Bachelorette” was dumped by Kaitlyn Bristowe, to have his own show as “The Bachelor.”

If he signs on the dotted line, Higgins will be the first Bachelor from Denver and will have his pick of 25 women from across the country, hoping to find his future wife.

The software salesman who made it to the show’s top three has already taken part in viewing parties and meet-and-greets with fans at Highland Tap & Burger.

ABC has not yet commented on the rumors, however E! is citing multiple sources saying that the 26-year-old will anchor the show’s 20th season.

Higgins graduated from Indiana University and, according to his Twitter page, has family in Winona Lake, Ind. A quick glance at his social media profiles show he has been spotted at popular brunch spot Jelly with the first Bachelorette Trista Sutter, who is also in Colorado. Higgins is also a volunteer for Humanity & Hope based out of Honduras.

ABC will make an official announcement after this season of “The Bachelorette” wraps in a few weeks. For now, fans can catch Higgins on “The Men Tell All” reunion show next Monday, July 20. JJ Lane, a fellow Denver bachelor castoff from this season of “The Bachelorette,” will appear on the next “Bachelor In Paradise” premiering on August 2.
