Tuesday-July 25: The fifth and, according to organizers, final Aerial Acrobatic Arts Festival kicks off Tuesday with the “Circus of the Night” cabaret show at the Lakewood Cultural Center, offering vintage-themed performances, music and comedy. The virtuoso feats of strength and balance kick into higher gear July 24-25 with the festival’s marquee showcases, also at the Lakewood Cultural Center, featuring premieres and an appearance by vaudeville veteran Geoff Marsh. Competitive aerialists from around the country will mount the trapeze, silks, rings, corde lisse and more in an audience- and expert-judged showcase in which Friday’s winners determine Saturday’s performers. 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. 470 S.
