Two people missing since Sunday from the Colorado Springs area and whose bodies were found the next day, were identified Wednesday by Colorado Springs police.
Officials say Luis Fernando Sandoval, 33, and Cindy Arias, 22, both of Colorado Springs, were homicide victims.
On Sunday, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to 1400 block of Jet Wing Circle after an assault was reported there. Police determined that two people were missing. On Monday at about 4 p.m., the bodies were found in El Paso County near Falcon Highway and Baggett Road.
Police detectives are following up investigative leads, officials said, although a suspect or suspects have not been identified.
