1 Punched while he’s down. A man called Denver police on July 1 after he got into a fight with his brother and was punched while on the ground in the 1300 block of Xenia Street. The man said he was involved in a verbal argument and collecting his things to leave. When he bent down to pick up some clothes, he was punched in the side of the face.

2 Fight at Zac Brown concert. On July 3, Denver police responded to an altercation at the Zac Brown concert at Coors Field, 2001 Blake St. The suspects involved got into an altercation with one another. When security tried to break it up, several security workers were assaulted.

3 Drunken brothers cause problems. On July 4, Denver police responded to a disturbance in the 3600 block of Sheridan Boulevard where two brothers had gotten drunk and assaulted some residents at an apartment where they were guests. Once the brothers got out of hand, they were asked to leave but strangled and punched others.

4 Tire cut with driver inside truck. A man called Denver police on July 6 after a suspect walked behind his truck while he was sitting in it and slashed his tire in the 3200 block of West Nevada Place. When police arrived, the suspect was looking at the victim through his window.

5 Attempted robbery at Romantix. On July 4, an employee at Romantix, 633 E. Colfax Ave., called Denver police after a man came in and tried to steal three videos. The employee recognized the suspect when he entered and called police. He stopped the suspect on his way out and found videos in his waistband.
