United says there were no issues found with an aircraft that on Wednesday morning after a “medical situation” was reported aboard.
“The pilots did not report any aircraft malfunctions in flight, and United mechanics found no technical issues with the aircraft during inspection,” said Jennifer Dohm, an airline spokeswoman.
The Denver-to-Los Angeles flight landed at the Grand Junction Regional Airport about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday after several passengers reported feeling ill. Passengers later continued to Los Angeles on a different plane.
Grand Junction Fire Department spokesman Shawn Montgomery says firefighters tested for toxic gases and no problems were found.
