You’ll get moose bumps

Head to the U.S. Forest Service Visitor Center to join in the free festivities of the sixth annual Grand Mesa Moose Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 25. Learn about the area’s growing moose population with viewing, safety tips, a hike, crafts, demonstrations and more. Picnic lunches are welcome. A second celebration is Aug. 22 in State Forest State Park.
