A single-vehicle rollover crash near Keenesburg on Monday morning left a 42-year-old man dead and sent two teen boys to Children’s Hospital Colorado.

The crash happened about 7 a.m. near the intersection of Weld County roads 10 and 63.

The Colorado State Patrol says the man killed in the crash was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier southbound on County Road 10 when it crashed.

Trooper Nate Reid said the vehicle collided with a pole and the driver, whose identity has not been released, was ejected.

The man was pronounced dead on scene.

Reid said a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy sustained minor injuries in the wreck.

The State Patrol says alcohol and drugs are not considered factors in the crash. Reid said investigators believe speed played a role in the crash.
