A fire at an abandoned greenhouse near Brighton Tuesday afternoon released a plume of smoke that could be seen for miles.
Firefighters with Brighton Fire Rescue were called to the fire near East 160th Avenue and Tucson Street just after 5 p.m. and firefighters had the blaze under control by about 6:30 p.m., according to the fire rescue’s Twitter feed.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
