A woman who drowned in the South Platte River over the weeked was identified Tuesday by Douglas County authorities.
Rose Mary Morgan, 60, of Golden, into the river Saturday. She was later pulled out of the water by kayakers, who could not resuscitate her.
Morgan was tubing with her husband when the incident happened Neither were wearing life-jackets, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said.
