Through Sunday Community-Minded Dance’s Denver Vintage Jazz Festival is all about preserving and promoting the popular music of the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s. But for its second year, the event includes a new program, “Jazz Kids,” designed to expose the next generation to the tunes of Louis Armstrong and others. Live musical performances will include a kid-friendly program in which youngsters can interact with musicians and dancers, as well as the core nightly shows at the Double Tree by Hilton in Northglenn . Events take place through Aug. 2 at 83 E. 120th Ave. in Northglenn. Tickets: $20-$. John Wenzel
