Good job, Rockies and Blue Jays. You ruined an answer on “Jeopardy!”

The Troy Tulowitzki trade completed Monday made a clue on the Thursday episode of the long-running game show obsolete.

The clue: “In 2015 shortstop Troy Tulowitzki hopes to help this team fulfill its Mile High hopes.”

Now unless the Rockies and the Blue Jays meet in the World Series and Tulo pulls off a (the scripted kind, ), ripping off his Toronto jersey to reveal a Colorado one underneath, it doesn’t look like that will happen.

“Jeopardy!” is filmed in advance, so during the time of the taping it was more than likely correct.
