A 4-year-old Windsor girl drowned in a pool Saturday during a party at a private residence.

Skyler Liston was found unresponsive in the pool, said Weld County Coroner Mark Ward.

The girl went into the pool about 6:20 p.m.

Adults were having a party at the home, and she may have slipped into the water without anyone noticing, Ward said.

“She was out of eyesight,” Ward said.

The girl was visiting the home, but Ward said he didn’t know if her parents were among those present.

She was transferred to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, where lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.

She was pronounced dead at 8:37 p.m.

The Windsor Police Department and Ward are still investigating the incident.
