Sunday: The Colorado Music Festival sends off a successful 2015 season with a program featuring choral music’s two biggest names: Mozart and Handel. Music director Jean-Marie Zeitouni conducts the CMF Orchestra and Chorus, and soprano Karina Gauvin will appear as the featured soloist. The program showcases some of the genre’s greatest hits, starting off with Mozart’s “Exsultate, jubilate” and “Regina Coelior” in the first half. After intermission, it’s all Handel with “Music for the Royal Fireworks,” and excerpts from the cantata “Ode to St. Cecilia’s Day.” 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Chautauqua Auditorium, 900 Baseline Road, Boulder, $12-$54. 303-440-7666 or .
