A Denver police officer was injured Wednesday during a “subject stop” on East Colfax Avenue, police said.
The officer was injured just before 6 p.m. in the 8200 block of East Colfax Avenue, said Eranda Piyasena, a Denver Police Department spokesman.
The person the officer stopped was arrested on suspicion of resisting police and drug possession.
The officer’s injuries were described as minor.
