1 Man reports multiple incidents involving vehicles. On July 23, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies to the 8400 block of South Upham Way, Columbine (Littleton), after he found a bolt in his tire, a key in his wife’s tire and damage to the brakelight on his motorcycle. The man suspected a neighbor caused the damage.

2 Drunken man damages drywall. A deputy responded July 25 to the 10000 block of West Bowles Circle in the Littleton areaafter a father called to reportthat his son came home drunk, argued with him and then began damaging drywall. The officer took the suspect to a gas station to call a friend. The officer was recalled to the house when the suspect returned and did more damage. He was taken to a detox facility.

3 Suspicious container reported. On July 22, deputy responded to the 15000 block of South Deer Creek Canyon Road, Ken-Caryl, on a report of a suspicious container in the road. The 5-gallon jug appeared to contain used motor oil. The officer disposed of it.

4 Sprinkler system cut. A woman called deputies on July 21 after she noticed damage to her sprinkler system in the 4000 block of South Zephyr Street, Columbine (Littleton).

5 Man traps mother in home. On July 20, a woman called deputies to the 100 block of Buckthorn Drive, Ken-Caryl where she said her son trapped her in a closet and then in the laundry room when she tried to leave her home after the two argued. The woman said her son had recently been released from prison and had a drug problem. Deputies searched the son’s backpack and found needles, pot and pornography.
