Tampa Bay Rays infielder Richie Shaffer connected on his first major-league hit Tuesday — a home run to right field in the top of the seventh inning against the White Sox.
After rounding the bases, he entered the dugout where all his teammates decided to just huddle up and ignore the rookie. But does this deter him? Heck no. The 24-year-old celebrated with his imaginary teammates before the team gathered around him.
